Back in 2010, Caravel Technical College (CTC) began with a simple but powerful mission: to make quality education in hospitality, business management, aviation, tourism, and animation affordable and accessible to students from East and Northeast India.
At a time when pursuing a management degree was out of reach for many due to high costs, CTC’s founders saw an opportunity to change lives. They opened the doors to a new kind of institution—one focused on global exposure, industry-driven learning, and practical skills at a budget-friendly cost. With a class of just 26 enthusiastic students, the journey started—and what a journey it’s been.
Today, CTC stands proudly as a leader in hospitality education. Our campus at Contai, West Bengal, boasts state-of-the-art labs, a dedicated faculty team, and a supportive environment where students thrive. We’ve been recognized with accolades like the Nava Jyoti Award for Best Placements in 2012 and 2015, reflecting our commitment to helping students secure top roles in leading organizations worldwide.
